O que aconteceria se a morte saísse de férias no romance gráfico “Morte”, de Guilherme Bon e Carlos Ruas? Eu gosto muito dessa história porque ela faz a gente pensar sobre o significado da vida.
O livro tem quadrinhos, ilustrações artísticas e uma narrativa simples voltada para jovens. Na HQ, um grupo de amigos (personagens fictícios) certa noite mata a morte e a enterra. A partir disso, as pessoas percebem que podem viver sem medo, já que ninguém morre mais. Porém, logo descobrem que também podem perder o sentido da vida.
No livro, há dois irmãos, Alcino e Beto. Depois que a morte deixa de existir, eles passam a fazer atividades de risco, como dirigir um carro para fora de um precipício ou nadar no oceano profundo. Mesmo assim, no fim das contas, acabam presos à mesma rotina. É entediante. No final, Alcino encontra sua tataraneta Zaya. Ela não sabe o que é uma bicicleta.
